Electrical What is it?
I'm gonna guess once I know what it is, I will know what it is for, and then will know if I need to keep it or not......
It's attached to the back of the instrument panel. 53 F100 6v Positive.
Is it just some type of junction block? Or a fuse of some sort?

Yep, those are the circuit breakers. There's two of them there. You will see them in your wiring diagrams. And unless you are going to rewire using fuse blocks, you need to keep and use those. If you are going to 12 volt Neg ground, chuck them and use fuse blocks.
