hey guys i need a lil help i have a 96 explorer and i keep blowing the fuse for o/d, 4wd, back up lights, rear deforster fuse #26 i installed a circut breaker and i figured out it only blows when swiching gears so i know its not the rear defroster or 4wd or reverse lights i dont this its the o/d beacuse i removed the button at the end of the gear selctor i was woundting if any1 knows of wires coming out of the stalk that rub and eventually short out or wires in the stalt the get messed up any help is gretly appricated

Take the columb shroud off and unplug the wire connector to the OD button so the wires wont short the fuse. As long as the wires are still plugged in it doesnt matter if the switch is still there or not.

thank you so much HomerWinzlow i can not thank you enough i took my colloum apart this morning and i herd sparks sure enought the black wire coming out of the gear shifter was shorting out on the coloum so i rapped it with some electrical tape and thanks again
