stumped on electrical

I have a 1987 f150 4.9. I just replaced ignition switch, distributor, IAC, TPS sensor, solenoid, cables, ICM, and coil. I had power to ignition after replacing switch but now have no power when key is turned after replacing dolenoid and cables. Anyone have any solution, [also now have no power to coil now].
Thanks alot.

Are you sure you got the electric cables on the proper terminals on the solenoid? The other end of the positive battery cable goes on the solenoid terminal farthest from the battery, all the other smaller cables with the big eye also go on that terminal. The only cable that goes on the terminal closest to the battery is the one that goes down to the starter. I believe that little slip on wire goes on the top little terminal, I'd have to go look at my '88 to make sure.
