Hi there, been a while since I posted, actually had to re-register. Happy to be back.
Have an oil leak which is spraying oil back towards the turbo, firewall etc. Looking at the motor it is near the right rear side. Know thats kinda vague but I can try and post some pics if it might help.
Planning a long trip with a trialer to Florida in late december and am looking for some advice on what it might be.
Spraying oil from the right side back toward the turbo sounds like the HPO (high pressure oil) line where it attaches to the head. Pictures would be helpful.
Might be easier to see the exact location of the leak if you clean up the old oil with some kind of gentle degreaser (Simple Green). Then take a couple of pictures of the leak starting up again. Check your oil level.

Welcome back, I'm with Chris, I think your HPOP lines are your culprit but you need to clean her you and take a look.
Here's a pic of turbo pedestal with EBPV actuator. Its the rod sticking out on the left. Very difficult to see without a telescoping mirror. Check there for a leak. There may be some grime around that area but if it is wet with oil you have a leak. This pedestal is from an early 99. Another possible leak point could be on top of this pedestal where there are 2 o-rings where the turbo mounts and under this pedestal where there are 2 o-rings where it mounts to block.
You can see in this pic toward the back of valley the 2 o-rings where the pedestal mounts.
