HYPERTECH TIPS.LOSE THE SHIFTPLUS?
98 F-150 XLT,245 70 yokahama AVS/ST's
prarie tan w/tan int.
K/N gen.II fipk
B/M electronic shift improver
COBRA 75 remote mount CB with weather
alert
SNUGTOP LID/body color
4.6 litre V-8
Dual exhaust/rear exiting/Gibson
rectangle tips
Hypertech Module and powerstat
losing the chrome(YUCK!!!)front end
going all body color with speed grilles
for bumper and main grille.
You think if I weld the third door shut
it will stop the door cracks???
A question, I should remove the b/m shiftplus when
I install the Hypertech module,,right? They both
change the trans shift points and it sounds like I
may run into problems with them both installed.
This is the first vehicle I have put a chip in
and I just wanted to make sure that I'm doing it
correctly. I'm also changing the thermostat to the
160 degree unit,any special instructions for the
change? or is it just a normal install?

HYPERTECH TIPS.LOSE THE SHIFTPLUS?
You will need to remove the shift plus before using the Hypertech tuning. We alter the shift firmness, which when combined with the Shift Plus, could raise the line pressure too much.

Thank you, but I've already returned it. It made
my engine detonate very badly,You shouldn't
let Autobone sell your products. They had no
knowledge of it other than the ordering process. Because of their idiocy,you lost a
customer. Once I unplugged the chip,the performance stayed for a while but the detonation went away immediately.
