56 Grill vs 57 Grill

The 56 grill and 57 Grill look awful lot alike... By chance are they interchangable??

I don't see any way they could interchange. The '57 grill is 72" wide. I don't have a '56 to compare but I don't think they are near that wide.
It might be possible to narrow a '57 grill and make it fit but the '57 grill is more squarish around the headlights and might not look right with the shape of the front of a '56.

I'm not sure what 56 and 57 grille you are looking at but to my eye they are nothing alike. 56 sits within the boundaries of the fenders and the 57 fits flush to the outer edges of the fenders.

1956 vs 1957: Two completely different trucks, not one piece of trim or sheet metal is the same.

The Flareside beds used 1953/56 look the same as 1957/60, but they aren't the same either.
