Question Alcoa price

Got a junkyard fella that is willing to sell me a set of factory Alcoa rims off an OBS Powerstroke. Haven't seen what they look like yet. He said $430 for the set. I thought that was pretty steep for used rims. What do you think? I don't think I will be able to negotiate price much as he is one of these fellas that sells a lot of parts to the insurance company for big bucks. (i.e. $50 a piece for the back bumper brackets).

$430 bucks is steep is that with rubber? or just the rims?

Bet If you were to call Frank at Thunderbay auto he could find them for you for half that price.

Around here you can find nice Super Duty wheels for next to nothing on Craig's List, but OBS Alcoa wheels are somewhat rare. It took me about 6 months to find a set and I paid $350 with worn out tires on them. I had previously passed on a set for $400 thinking that was way too expensive. 4-5 months later when another set finally came available I jumped on it.
