I have a 3 inch body lift on my 1995 F150 and it is a 2wd. Now the front still slants down about 2 inches. Now I want it to look like a 4wd and be level all the way around. I know of 1 option I have. I could buy some leveling coils and get them put on but I think they run about 100 bucks or so. Now I heard of someone putting some F250 or F350 coil springs in the F150. Would this work? Would it give me about 2 inches of lift in the front? Please reply if you know of anything I could do. Thanks
just go with leveling springs because the are able to keep a good ride, or go with daystar 2 inch spacers but they are almost as expensive as coils. you will need 2 degree correctors to get you alignment straight with the additional lift.
The F-250s and F-350s use leaf springs not coil springs.

a buddy of mine put leveling springs on his 95 2x4 6 months ago. he got them at the 4x4 shop. he got the superlift 2" leveling springs for about 120. it toook us about 2 hours to install them and the truck now looks like a 4x4. just without the front axle lol. he also had to get new longer shocks. they cost about 40 or 50 bucks

Get skyjackers from ntwonline.com. 120 bucks is right in the ballpark. You will need an alignment afterwards, and you should get some new front shocks. They say you don't need them, but you might. I'd put the coils on, and if the shocks break then they break, put some new ones on no big deal. I've heard a ton of people put the coils on and not mention breaking shocks, just 1 person said they broke them. So why buy them unless you have to.

well im the person who broke their front shocks, i drive my truck hard so thats probably why. but you will want them in the future so if you have the money why not just put it all in at once! i have rancho rs5000's and they improved the ride of my truck greatly.
If you want to do it right, get a set of Moog performance springs. They're supposed to be stock ride hight, but they actually lift the truck 1.5 to 2 inches and restore the factory ride hight (believe it or not, these truck came form the factory pretty well level, spring sag is what makes them nosedive) A good shop should be able to align is without any other parts, and your truck will be sitting level.
They might lift it when you first put them on, but the moog springs will sag back down to normal ride height after a few months. These trucks were like this from the factory, I've seen pictures. Get the skyjacker springs. The factory springs settle out, like the moog springs would, but the ride height they are at now, is close to what it came stock. My truck is a 95 too, and if after 7 years, and if for example, it sagged an inch, after 14 years it would sag two inches if not more right? I have a 1980 cube van, stock springs, perfectly fine and at the proper ride height. This spring sag thing is BS.

well i called ntwonline.com and they said I could get the 3 inch coil springs for the front for about 110 bucks. but is that the right thing i need? Is 3 inch too much? will i have to do any other modifications? I just want my truck to be leveled out. Any tips please.
The skyjacker leveling coils will do the trick, 3" is a little high. Measure from the top of your rim, to the bottom of the fender front and rear and see what you get. Should be about 12 in the front and 15 in the back. 3" difference, but keep in mind when you lift the front 2", more weight is being shifted to the rear, and the rear will drop about 1/2 an inch, so it will be level within 1/2 inch, which is unnoticeable.

Just swap coils, it's very easy their will be instructions with it. You should be ok with the shocks you have.

well i was going to order thoses leveling coils throught nwtonline and the guy was a total *********!!! He told me that there were no 2 or 3 inch leveling coils and that they only made 4 inch and 1 1/2 inch coils. I said that was bull #$%^ because I just called them yesterday and they had them. Well anyways, my question now is where else can I purchase some of these leveling coils? Is their anything else I need to know?
