Halogen Headlights
hey guys,
I bought some 40 dollar halogen headlights from a store the other day just cuz they were cheap and the guy said they wld be bright, but i am not at all happy with them.
Do any of you guys have some good bright headlights that ur happy with? What brand/ model do ya recomend?

I just bought the new Piaa H13 for our truck. Took them long enough. I love them. It is a whiter light than stock and and little brighter on low beam and a hell of lot brighter on highbeam. Got them off of ebay.

I just put in a set of 4 Silverstars a few weeks ago--H13 for the headlamps and 9145 for the foglights in my 05. The H13's don't appear to be available in the Ultrastars unfortunately.
They are definitely whiter but only somewhat brighter than stock. I usually drive with the fogs on since the headlamps alone don't seem to put out too much. They don't come close to my wife's HID's in her Lexus. No regrets though.

Go with Xenon. I bought the Silverstars and I took them off after a two weeks. I like the Xenon much better. I found the Xenons headlights and foglights on ebay. Together with shipping they were cheaper than the Silverstars headlights.

I have had the silverstar's and they don't last worth a damn. I did like them but I like the Piaa's a hell of a lot more. Havne't seen the Xenon's
