This is a new one. Where is this sensor at and will it set a code if it fails? I am still chasing a few demons in mine
The BARO sensor is internal to the PCM Paul. Can't replace it without replacing the PCM. It should set a code, but I'd keep looking at other possibilities if I were you.
Hey I got a question about the GPs and GPR. If my truck heavily smokes pure white about 5-10 min after startup would I have a problem with my GPs or my GPR?
It could be either. Check the GPR first. If it is ok, then it is time for that dreaded laying across the fender GP check!
Chris, thanks for the answer. I am still chasingthat "No Power" demon and the acting like it is running out of fuel and race cam shake. Once Iget past these three, I believe I will have the demons whipped!
Without more info, I would guess the AIH. Been pretty darn cold up your way. Check the leads/voltage on the GPR lookalike in front of it. If ya need more info, do a search on "white smoke".
That could be any of the three parts of the system. I have narrowed mine down to glow plugs after a 15 degree start the other morning. I forgot the block heater. I cycled the system twice. When it started, the white smoke rolled and it sounded and ran like a hopped up big block. My problem is either glow plugs or the harness. I just cannot get that deep under the hood at the moment to check it.

Just unburnt fuel from cold cylinders, should go away as the truck warms up.
I've got a P0670 code that i've been chasing and I can't seem to figure it out. Has anyone trouble shot the california GPCM. I put a new one in thinking i did it right and it did not fix the code. The truck seems to run fine but can't get rid of the engine code.
