how does a reman help a guy going for 450?

you might have a point, if it was a 99 or up. Ford has a heavy duty trans. That might be able to handle it.

I would give you a call but I really don't want a stock trans. I want something thats going to work correctly with my setup and future plans and hold up while doing it!
