Frame off resto
Hey, im doing a complete frame off resto on a 1985 f150. sentimental reasons.. I need to know how to remove the bolt that goes through the I beam, radius arm and coil spring.....

I have never done it before, but the instructions just say to "remove it". Are you having problems?

yea....i first tried just backing it out....24 inches of cheater bar and 260 lbs jumping on the end didnt budge it...so i tried to drive it out...two pound hand sledge didnt budge it...

Sounds like you need a little heat on it, or possibly you can take the axle and radius arm out together and take it to a shop who may have a torch.

Soak it with PB for a couple of days and use a heavy duty 1/2" or 3/4" drive impact wrench on it (air or electric).
