Irreversable Change

I felt a similar feeling one night in July of 1969 when I saw a grainy picture of a man in our living room descending a ladder announcing to the world of his first step on the surface of the moon only seen by sight and telescope before after following the trials and errors of a few short years of propelling man into the heavens.

I have watched many other wonders that came to be that changed yet our world, now I sit late last night then early this morning and the world changed again. I feel I must embrace this change for now that it has taken place we cannot no matter what we do go back. This that we see and experience has been coming just as the horse was put out to pasture because there was news of an agency in town that sold a new machine called a tractor that promised more production with less work. The ones that stubbornly stayed with their draft horses yielded through the years and were cast aside.

I do so very much with all my heart hope this change is for the good. I knew this day was coming but in the end I had not envisioned the one that would lead this new way.
