Rim size
how do i tell how wide my rims are. They are american racing outlaw IIs. Right now I have 31x10.5s on there and they look pretty wide. I want to put on 36x12.5s. How do i tell how wide my rims are and will this be safe?

Just from general experience I would say that the rims are most likely 8" wide. You would not be able to mount 31x10.5 on a 10" rim, and if I remember correctly AR only makes 8" and 10" wide rims. I also think that the minimum width for mounting a 13.5" wide tire is 8.5". You can look up the manufacturer of the tire that you are thinking of getting and it will list the minimum width of the rim that can be used. Good luck.
