Talking Got $28,500 ?

How about a system that makes it's own ETHANOL and BIODIESEL in one unit!

Allard Research & Development

I uses Ethanol instead of Methanol to process the bio, and only costs $28,500 plus freight!

Gosh, where do I send the check? Not that I have the need or desire for something that wild...but would Ethanol work as a better alcohol than Methanol? I know you have to have an alcohol...but is there one that works better than another?

Neither one is better than the other. Ethanol will work as long as the purity is 99.5% or better. 99.5% Ethanol is difficult to produce at home, and cost more to buy ( if you can FIND any to buy!). Methanol is much cheaper.

I bought 2 reflux stills last year and have been making test batches this Fall. The best I've been able to make is 95.0%. Won't work. I'm going to make a "molecular sieve" this winter to see if I can get to 99.5. If I can achieve that, I'll be trying Ethanol in my bio process.

Having plenty of "raw" material to make Ethanol, I should be able to cut my costs by about $.60/ gallon!
