VIN plate decoding questions

This will be a long-winded post, and I apologize for that...but any help is much appreciated.

Before I ask here, I'll state that I checked the following decoders:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/vin-decoder/index.php
This one kept telling me it was an invalid VIN or gave limited info.

Ford Truck VIN# Indentification
This one gave me info I already had (Year, engine, etc.) as the above link did.

Got a 404 Not Found error

So here's my question. :-)

I've had a '77 for a couple years now, and I've been searching for (cheap) parts to build it. Living in a colder climate, and with the cost of heating fuel going sky-high - resources have been limited to none.

This past weekend, though, my uncle called me up and told me he was cleaning out his yard, which is an absolute gold mine to anyone wanting Ford parts. He asked me if I wanted a 73-79 truck he had. I went over, and ended up hauling 4 back to my place. Now I have five trucks sitting here, and I want to start with my original project again. Before I do so, I want to know exactly what I have, and I want to be as detailed with the information as I can. I'm getting as much of this info on the internet as I can before crawling under all five trucks and looking for tags and such.

I've gone out to all the trucks and written down all the information from the door tags, and I was wondering if I could get some information about my trucks here on the forums. I'll list the trucks out by color, to make it easier for me. (Instead of Truck 1, Truck 2, etc.)

Black truck (my project, I've transplanted a 351W into it.)

I'm not sure if I can get any more info, but I'm curious about a few things:
Original color
Front axle
Rear axle
Transfer case (on 4WD models)

I have reasons beyond just curiosity for wanting this info. Both of the 4x4's have plows/rigging, all but the brown truck run (brown truck has no motor in it), and I need to swap bodies/frames/etc around to build my project truck like I want it.

Anyway, any information would be appreciated. Sorry for the super long post.
