Thought there was a BBQ after the RBN with the awarding of the trophy?

Yes there is a BBQ afterwards with a trophy presentation. Last year we skipped it to get back to the campsite because we had to get dinner ready for the GTG. I had planned on staying this year for the BBQ and maybe wheel until dark-thirty. That is if I have anything left to wheel. But we can still have a dinner somewhere if you guys want. I don't mind eating twice.

For those that are wondering what the Ricky Bob Nationals is, It's pedal to the metal threw some of the roughest terrain at the Tuttle Creek ORV in Randolph, KS. No "Krawling" to it. Fastest time wins. Here's a copy and past about the event......

2nd Annual Ricky Bobby Randolph Nationals
FREE ENRTY!!!
November 8 sign in at 9 comps start at 10 sharp!
This competition will consist of 3 events (time permitting) a race up the garden, and a couple of others.
This will be a time only event. Each event will be scored 1 point for 1st, 2 points for 2nd and so on. Lowest point total will win.
Staff WILL be allowed to compete in this event.
One class only. The run up the garden will begin in the tree trails which should benifit the norrower axel smaller tired rigs.
There will be some rules:
1. Driver and spotter must where helmets. (you don't have to have a spotter)
2. No alcohol is to be consumed by participants during the competitions.
3. Have fun
4. No whining. I'm putting this on for fun and its free so I don't want to here it.
5. Spotter cannot re-enter the vehicle once they have exited it.
6. Spotter cannot be within 2 feet of it when it is in motion.
7. There will probably be more rules to follow...

Rig requirements:
1. 33" or larger tires
2. At least 1 locker
3. Fixed roof or rollcage
4. Seatbelts

The best part is its FREE!! So you might as well give it a shot, your not out anything.
The only thing to win will be a sweet traveling trophy that I am going to create! I am hoping to make this an annual event, so the winner would have to bring it back next year to defend his title of: The fastest man in Randolph!! or something
The winner can also feel free to make additions or modifications to the trophy.
Following the event, we are going to have a barbaque at the ORV, where the trophy will be presented. More details to follow about food.
Checking into having some t-shirts made up, and passing them along for whatever they cost us.
This event is going to be for fun so if your wanting a real serious competion, this probably isn't for you. It will probably be disorganized and un-fair. So don't tell me I didn't warn you.

This is not a club affiliated competition.

Who wants to go fast?
