Hello, My belts seem to squeak pretty much all the time. They are tight and look in pretty good condition. Do you use belt dressing for this? My truck is a 2006.
Thanks
No, U don't use belt dressing, you try to find what is the problem.
You are looking for either A/C clutch issue, but more likely belt tensioner. If it's A/C clutch, the noise should stop when your compressor works.
Take a look at the tensioner while you move the belt some. Your tensioner have to have movement. They could seize up ( happened to me ) and your belt will squeak all the time.

I noticed you said BELTS. Do you have more then one belt? Most 6.0s only have one belt unless you have the factory dual alternator setup.
Not sure how many miles you have on your truck but I replaced my belt at 70,000 miles and it needed it. I installed the Goodyear Gatorback belt I purchased from Advance Auto vice the Ford OEM belt. It was a lot tighter fit then the OEM belt I removed.
