Hello i have a 1986 Ford F150 and i was hoping to pick a few brains out there because mine can't seem to figure out something with my truck. ok i'll start this off, when i was driving it just quit........... ok now i know first to ask is is there spark? yes my fingers were tingling for about 2 hours after the pumps don't have power the injectors do not have any power the relay that i found seems to be good its the one when you pop the hood it's there on the drivers side firewall. none of my books say what that one is for but i bough a new one and nothin. she will start on the spray kinda, if i take the air intake line off and put gas right down her throt shell start. other than that it won't run long and just stop again.... help please.
hello if u put fuel in that line and it will run for a sec try the fuel pump first check the power going to it check to see if u have on on the fram and one in the pump most of the time the one on the fram is the bad one i dont know but check to see if u has a fuel shut off switch in the kick panel with the red button on top try to push check fuel filter the relay under hood do u have a green and a brown one the green one should be for fuel pump if u have two tanks try to switch them i hope this helps
