removing flywheel?

removing the flywheel on 89 f150 how do i keep the motor from turning over? motor is a 300 inline

your best bet is too use an air impact. If you don't have access to one of them, than you are gonna just have to try and hold the flywheel from turning

you may be able to use a hammer to hit the wrench to shock them loose. Best bet is an air impact though. Good luck

got them a few mins ago didnt have an impact so we stuck a screw driver thru into the bolt hole somewhere n wrenched them off it wasnt on right the person tht took it apart before me had no idea broken bolts everywhere...big mess

a rubber door stop wedge will work wedged between flywheel and block by the large bell housing alignment pin. wood wedge will also work will also work. done that before
