i have an 05 f250 4x4. i recently purchased the skyjacker 2"-2.5" lift kit with new coils and 1" rear add leafs. the problem i see is that it didn't come with enough. all i have is the two new coils, two add leafs, and two center pins. am i going to need more parts? superlift's 2" system says you should buy alignment bushings/caster brackets and a track bar drop bracket. the other problem i have is that i cannot get the truck onto a lift. i'm 18 and my father is a mechanic with his own shop. we can't see how we can even put this truck on the lift without running into problems. so how would i be able to do an alignment if i can't even get it on the lift? any suggestions will be appreciated.
You will need the additional parts you have listed, I had the same kit on my 06. You can do it with floor jacks but when it comes to alignment you will need to check around and may have to go to a truck alignment shop.
I put the ready lift 2 1/2 lift on my new 08. it came with coil extension cups, new track bar bracket , new bumper extensions, and shock mount relocators.
for the rear it had new u bolts and spacer.
definately you need the track bar bracket cause when you lift the truck it will pull the trucks suspensions away from centerline of the suspension.
the rear is no big deal.
as far jacking the truck up. I used 4 roll away jacks. and stands it takes 2 to lift the truck, big rollaways i might add you need the height here. and 2 to lower the axel assembly. I did mine myself just go slow and be carefull because at one point your front suspension is completely unhooked if the truck falls it goes clear to the ground.
