Tonight's Leonid Meteor Shower

Is anyone going to be up at 2:00 Am to watch it?

You will never be able to see it again if you don't.

Not quite true Dennis.

The next good one will be in 33 years (I'll be 71 then) and the time recommend for viewing CST is 4:00 AM.

To answer your question: No - but I wish I could. But sleep is more important. Besides, once you've seen a few....

I do plan on viewing Saturn this weekend. The rings are supposed to be looking pretty good.

I'll watch for it again or go surfing for the article.

Tonight's Leonid Meteor Shower

I heard around here (upper midwest) that it can be viewed at 2 different times, 10:00pm cst and 4:00am cst. I'll go outside at 10 and see if I can see it. If not, I may just get up a half hour earlier than normal (yes, I get up at 4:30am every day,that is, until the end of this week) and check it out then. I'll try to get a pic if I can.

they are saying 5:30 here, i'll be up anyway, might as well take a peek. But I think its gonna be cloudy :-(

We have Scud about 10K, but I'll look this AM. I'm in Eastern Mississippi.
Probably wont see much anyway. It's a full moon tonite. Too much light from the moon.
