Clean the engine bay, get out a toilet and tooth brush, a can of WD40, A bottle of glass cleaner and some vinyl dressing.
Paint your hoodpad to preserve it.
tube the weather seals, clean the suspension, big 3 upgrade, more grounding points, add some more undercoating, scrub the dash down, clean the inside of the wheels, the list is limitless.

It's upgrading the stock alt to battery, engine to body and body to battery wires.
The stock wires are smallish and most vehicles like the upgrade. 4ga is the smallest I would bother doing, the stock should be about 8ga.

cheap fast projects with lasting results
carpet the door pockets, keeps things in there from shifting around
get a piece of anti skid material and put it in tray in dash so you can set keys and phone in there with out them slipping out
add extra set of interior lights under the dash to help you find things inside at night
install grab handle on the drivers side windshield post (come only on pass side on early SDs) to reduce seat bolster wear getting in and out
put jumper wire on fog lights so they can come on w/parking lights and stay on with brights
