f100 question

Are body parts and interior parts on a 79 f100 interchangeable with a 79 f150?

yes, i believe the only difference is the suspension

That's correct. F-100 and F-150 are interchangeable. body and interior.

You just got to match long bed for long, short bed for short, stuff like that etc...

Thanks. I found a swb f100 in this old lady's backyard. The tailgate is rusted out and the hood is damaged but the cab is pretty solid and the interior is fair. she said it was running when she parked it years ago. she doesn't wanna part it out though. She said I would have to buy the whole truck. I'm trying to decide what would be a fair price

Just ask if she'd take $50 & go up from there..........see how bad she wants rid of it 1st mate, then decide what you're willing to give

like 80F100man said, start low and go up from there. she probably has no idea how much it's worth in parts, etc.

COLMISS, Let me know what you're not going to use. I have a project '73 that I could use some parts off of.
Will a '79 cab work on a '73 frame anybody?
