Morning, no I have not been down there shooting, but i'd understand about some idiots who don'd have much sense with thier guns. I'm here in Central Oregon and most people have and know what there for, but you can get idiots everywhere. And welcome, sorry I did not say that first.

Thanks!!!!! where in CO are you? hopefully if gas stays low I can make it over there more. Im pretty sure the "idiots" who caused the problems came from WO. Its along way from walterville to CV just wanted a heads up before planning anything, it makes a trip to crane prairie seem like around corner.

I'm in Prineville. Gas is at 1.97 this morning in Prineville, alittle less in Redmond and Bend.

Not to sure what your calling "sage rats", but around here we have what the locals call "rock chucks" that were destroying my alfalfa. About 2 years ago we went on a killing spree, and killed over 200 of them! We now have several "dens" of bobcats that are doing a very good job of keeping them under control.............

The old timer I used to go with called em "squeakys" thats the sound the make when you shoot em! I guess there just ground squirrels. great fun w/ .22lr . Do you know of a small lake in that area called Duncan res.?.......BIG rainbows there.

I always tell people from CO, I live near SPRINGFIELD....NOT.....PEWGENE. what a place, you can see guys walking around dresses... no joke....and they have managed to run all the family wage jobs out of town. oh well they still got the hippie fair in july.

Is that the "organic" way to treat the problem? Organic alfalfa. you get to charge more for that way don't ya?

I can't afford it! I'd have to pay for it myself, we don't sell any..............We feed it to our cattle

I do use the glycerol from my bio production as fertilizer tho!
