I've been here for 4 years and it seems like we have all new people. Thats not a bad thing in it's self, just wonder where all the old folks are? I have made a lot of friends over the years and miss some of our older members. I will make new friends as well, it's all good, just miss some of the old timers. I know Rockledge is still here and Waves, just saw a post from Alan D. If you've been on the site at least a couple of years, "please chime in". Lets get a count of how many of us are still around for old times sake!!!!!
I'm coming up on 6 years in a couple of months. I got lost for a while after Hurricane Katrina when everything got washed/blown away. But I'm back with a vengeance.
I've been around for the last five years that I can remember, and probably a few months before I decided to actually register. I'm a bit new to the Ranger board, since I only bought my '94 in March of this year. Mostly you'll find me in the GC and Club FTE boards, but I check the Ranger and Bronco threads everytime I'm here.
Going on 4 years for me. Originally a Ranger enthusiast, then got a F150 for a couple years, so spent some time in that forum. And now I'm back to a Ranger....so I'll be around more frequently.
Personally, i was was kinda young when i frist joined. Then i moded my truck, and nobody on here could help me. There was nothing like it ever made before that we knew of. Then I went to school and all that, got in an accident, and bought a ranger without any problems... untill now. I did miss the comradery of what this froum use to be. It was fun working together to find a solution to someone who could live next door, or on the other side of the country.
I didn't know i was such a personallity. I glad to be back though. I think next paycheck, i'll become a supporter again.
ive been here since i got my '93. been about 5 years i think. my '88 was alot more problem free than the '93 but the '93 is a much better truck overall. im not a big fan of the '98 & up changes. i'll keep my "old school" TTB,OHV on the road just as long as i can. ive thought about starting a bronco II project with a turbo 2.3 4 cyl. ive never heard of anyone else doing it. i check in alot, just dont post as much as i used to. ive been on 2nd for almost a year and it seems my "home" time is very short. if im home im asleep or eating. i usually get on after work just to chill before turning in for the night.
Hey Wendell, do oldy moldy pawpaw's count for this muster????!!!! lol
Been busy turning wrenches on my 99 Ranger & 94 Taurus & driving the MIL to do her things & turning wrenches on her 2000 Neon & mulching leaves, but manage to check this board almost daily.
Wonder whats happened to CowboyBilly9mile, Bob Ayers, Ranger Pilot & some others that were posting reqularly when I joined up back in 94?????
You'd think they'ed stop by to say howdy, or at least "give us the finger" just to keep us all on our toes!!!! lol
I'm still here also. howeer, I've been busy working on the Sable, Thunderbird and painting the kitchen/dining room. So far the ranger has been trouble free.
I think I reconize pawpaw name rom the Taurus site where i've got a lot of help from.
I've been doing more reading here than posting. Guess by doing that i've found a lot of answers to my questions. Sometimes you can find me in the Oklahoma chapter.
