Welcome to FTE
The front fender badges say FORD F250, then the red inserts will say Camper Special. **
There's no way to tell by the VIN or any other info on the Warranty Plate if it's a Camper Special (C/S) or not.
C/S's have special features like standard equipment oil and amp gauges as part of the C/S package, but these features were optional on all F100/250's.
C/S's came standard with the 300 I-6, the 352 2V was optional.
C/S's have either a 4 speed manual or a Cruise-O-Matic transmission.
C/S's were not available with the 3 speed manual, or the 240 I-6.
FTE member camperspecial65 has the C/S brochure pictured in his member gallery.
Thanks, I´l think I have all of this. 352 4speed, extra gauge and this badges. Like I say i´m just have buy the truck and in fact dont have it on my yard yet. I have only some pictures of it from left frontsida and the dash. It was very intresting to see the pictures at "camperspecial65"
Thanks again budys!
Secondly, As Bill(ND) said above most of the C/S package portions were optional on most of the other trucks. Do look in my gallery as the original factory package info is all there in Ford terms...a couple of relatively easy ways to tell though its a C/S is if the alternator/water pump/crank pulleys are double groove...for whatever reason they did that on the 352s...Im not positive on the 6, but my best guess is it was done on them too...
The other way, is if after looking at the fenders themselves and determining they are original to the truck and both have the C/S inserts then its a good bet your is indeed a C/S truck...depending on what part of the US your truck is heading to you from there are some popular accessories that may have been added to it.
When you do get it, create your gallery on here and take tons of pics...

This reason.
Dual belt alternator, the alternator has a double sheeve pulley, as does the waterpump and the crank pulley.
thanks for the reply i have the tags on the hood from a c/s there faded into
the plastic just assumed it was a c/s it did'nt look like any body parts had been changed
not the origanal moter now a 289.
