Good afternoon Pat, Dallas, Rob, Terry, Gary, Randy, Randy and all others that drop by today.
Hey Pat, you can keep that crappy weather for a few more weeks. It is suppose to stay decent here until the weekend and then reality sets in. The weather we are having is the stuff that we normally get in September.
Hey Everyone!! I know this is a Truck site but I am a fan of Mustangs as well and I just got word from Joe that Performance Ford has finally received the New Shelby King of the Road Mustang!!! It may be sold already but will be there for awhile. Joe is the only tech who is allowed to touch and drive the car right now. I am hoping to see it maybe today or sometime this week to get pics of it and will post when i am able to. I have been waiting to see this car for a long time!!!
YES!! GET US PICS!! they wouldn't let me near it.....I might drool on it!! I might have to stop in there. Are they going to put it out on the showroom??

Better get your drool bucket ready Pat as I am sure that you will need it
Yes, I will get plenty of pics for all to see!!lol And, yes, the car will be in the showroom in a few days. Joe said he needs to put a brake cooling kit on it, test drive it and then it will get a quick detail and then it should go to the showroom, maybe by the weekend. I will have plenty of time to get pics of it and I will be sure to get inside and under the hood!! So, I will keep yall posted on when it is in the showroom and if you want to see it in person, you will have to go to Performance Ford at 120th and Dodge in Omaha. It is the only dealership that got one of these cars!!!!
I told my wife back in '05, that I was going to either get a new Super Duty, or I was going to get a new GT 500. Neither idea thrilled her, I assure you!!
But, the Super Duty won out!
Besides, would have been a tight fit, all five of us. And I don't think the Mustang would have been very good at pulling my boat!!
Have any of you seen the show Punk'd? That was what happened when I got my 350 last year. I was 100% Punk'd!!! If you really want to hear the whole story, let me know and I will tell it! Joe did a great job making me believe I could not have the truck!!
yeah.. i remember watching barrett-jackson palm beach and seeing the two KITT Knight Rider Mustangs sold as a pair for a winning bid of $300,000. They also added as a bonus, the winner was given the opportunity to purchase a 2009 GT500KR Mustang at list price, and not a dollar more!!
another thing i found out interesting about those cars was that in actuality, the KITT Mustangs are nothing more than a modified 4.8L Mustang GT designed to look like GT500KR Mustangs.
