Hi everyone!I know it's a Ford site,but a was on a Chevy Forum and no body help me.So,I have Chevy Van G20,1993,80K,5.7L,V8.The problem is no 3-d gear when i drive.I mean it's 1-st,2-nd and again 1-st.A couple days before I change transmissions filter and oil, but nothing change.So,if somebody know about this problem,please help me!Thanks for replay! (Sorry for bad english)
It broke before.When I take this van (it was not mine) and check a transmission oil level there was almost dry,I just add transmission fluid,about 3 quart, nothing ghange.After this I change transmission oil and filter,but problem is same.I think I need new transmission,don't know. P.S. This is the best site what I know !!!!!!!!Thanks guys!!!

Is it a 350c trans or does it have OD.

A '93 should have the 4L60E, a four speed OD with lockup converter and computer controls.
It is an excellent transmission, but if it was down three quarts, something was already terribly wrong. Unless they leak, transmissions dont "use" oil between changes like engines.
