now what?
okay replaced the turn signal cam on my 1990 f150-and now I got no turn signals at all?check all connections where I soldered in the new one-it was one of those cheap help line ones? kinda lost here? anybody know if the whole turn signal switch will work out of an 88 f150? or a 1994 f150? got two for parts hanging around!

four ways work and the fuse #5 checked out good? going to check the power to switch tomorrow-just seems kinda like a snafu deal! read all the horror stories about the help line switches after I bought the darned thing-followed all suggestions about soldering rather than using the clamp type connectors-which you don't have room for-and it still kicked my but

okay I figured it out-1st and foremost --the help line cam assembly is junk-confirmed by again another member-the round spring steel contact was a little too long on top and bottom-so it would hand up on the plastic not go into place-and I'm no better off since i changed it-still have to hold the turn signal arm in place? oh well it is what it is-hope no one makes the same mistake!
