I ran into Odie Miller, the owner of this truck around 1980 or 81 at a car show and had him chop my 55 F100, I am just now in the process of finishing this truck, Odie is long dead but I wonder what happened to his truck?

I wish I could help. All I can do is bump. It would be fun to find an old, long lost relic like this. Good luck with your quest, and your project.

I think I saw it in a Facebook page, wild and extreme custom 53-56 F100 trucks.

would have to go there and look through old posts.

Odd . A very 60's style custom on the cover of an 80's magazine with no reference of vintage customs or the builder . Not my cup of tea but definitely a vision .

I actually found a copy of that magazine on ebay and bought it, I do not have it yet.

Yes this guy was old school cool, did a lot of lead sled type work from the 50s into the 80s

Why yes it does. I never noticed before. I went to the Club's sight and they have different logo now. But back to your question it does.

I was in the San Diego chapter years ago and I was given some stuff from the estate of one of the original members. That club plaque was cast by Koehler while the later plaques came from a vendor in the Northeast. Bottom line, you have a vintage plaque.

I like it and since my truck was the one dad had in club it's perfect. I wish I had took pictures of all those trucks. They met at Movie land wax museum.

Each chapter has its own historian who takes photos and maintains albums of members, their trucks. and outings. I would check to see who the historian was/is for your dad's chapter and take a look at their archives.

Oh I need to check, how cool would that be to find pix of dad's truck especially since it's now mine.

Yes he did, back when I had him do my cab when he was around 50 he said he had emphysema from years of inhaling paint fumes and dust.
