460 Mo Power
#1
#2
Here's how I see it:
1. Cat back exhaust. single 3" seems like enough on my 92 460
2. Drop in K&N airfilter
3. Open element K&N filter kit. I had one on my truck, it did help power and mileage a bit but I pulled it and installed the stock airbox because the thing is loud!
4. Headers. Supposed to be big gains here.
5. Cam (choose very carefully, apparently the fuel injection system will throw a tantrum if the cam has too much duration or too little lobe seperation)
6. Ported and possibly milled heads
7. Supercharger??
I'm saving (slowly, my kids doctors have been killing the budget lately... all is well now though) to get headers and a cam/lifter kit. Also looking for a set of the later heads to work over. I'm pretty sure that with headers, exhaust and a cam I'll have what I want out ot this old thing and I'll have to move on to the transmission....
