Well, I'm pulling the plates off the PSD for the winter..... Going to drive the Aerostar, I guess. Anyway, the sort of part is that now, I'll have more time to get that front axle set up on the truck. Not having to worry about getting it back on the road within 2 days of starting the project. Anywa, I'll keep you posted. I think I have the extra $$$$ to get the 3.55 gears now. Now just have to find more $$$$ to get them installed.
Oh yeah. I can hardly wait. Mind you the aerostar is pretty nice too. Leather heated seats and AWD. Nice stereo (no cd mind you). I can split the kids up seeing as it's a 7 passenger. The 4 captains chairs are pretty nice. Honestly, If the seats were light blue or grey, I'd have put them in the PSD.
Why do you have to take your plates off? Here in Ontario I just pull the liability insurance off my 79 (that's the gov't mandated ins. coverage) and leave the theft and fire coverage on it, and I've had the same plates I've had since I got the truck.

Well, actually the plates are staying on, just won't renew the insurance and registration until spring/diesel prices drop/conversion project is done. As for the van, it is pretty nice. Took it for a spin tonight and found it without OD. Hmmmm..........
