Throwing codes after EGR ectomy
i just did the proceedure described herin bypassing my failed EGR valve and i am still getting the 403 and 405 codes even after clearing them with my mechanic.. any advice?

Well, it was my understanding that an '04 would not throw a code except maybe for a CA truck. But since it is, you are probably gonna need a tuner to turn it off in the PCM. Either that, or learn to ignore it, which some do, but I would not recommend. If you ignore it, how will you know when some other code comes up?
