When I was 16 I was promised by my brother-in-law that he would buy me a F250 4x4 and he never did. I worked my butt off and bought my 1999 F350 Crewcab 4x4 in 2002 at the age of 36. It took me 20 years and now at 42 I am finally getting to enjoy it. This little punk needs to go out and work just like me and everyone else did. Maybe it wont take him 20 years, but he will eventually get it.
I've also worked hard and after a few yrs of driving around crappy work trucks I was finally able to afford a ford diesel I've wanted. Not the exact truck I wanted but close enough for what I can afford. I'd love to own a crew cab long bed but all I could afford is a regular cab long bed.
For those of you who think 60k is too much. I would be willing to accept only 30k for my dream truck. Thereby saving you 30k. I am doing you a big service. Just pm me and I will give you my address. Thanks, I will sit at my computer and wait for your pm.
No kid at age 17 has any business even considering a $60k vehicle. We all have to deal with dissapointments in life. This time is one of your's kid, deal with it. How do you expect to even afford to insure, fuel & drive it? Fix the cracked head on whatever you spent your savings on, learning how to work on your car, and savor the satisfaction of a job well done. Don't learn the art of panhandling, we've got plenty of those types at offramp & intersection lights all ready. Snap!
My first truck was a 1978 ford F-600? It was a 4 ton flatbed ex-concrete workers truck. It had holes in the manifolds big enough to put my thumb in! It would only run for 30min. at a time then i had to let it sit for an hour before i could drive it again. It would just shut off. The funny thing is i miss that thing! Hold it at WOT and let off and it would back fire so loud people would hit the ground!!!

Don't really know what to say about that, it sort of sounds like a frun truck if you were with friends laughing at people duck or hit the floor. Though it could also be a pain if you have to get somewhere. Why didn't you fix it and get working in it? I'm looking for something like that right now. Well not that bad...
First vehicle was a 92 Ford Econoline (hand me down)...it was embarrassing driving to high school in it the 1st week...next thing ya know everyone loved it! Next was a 94 Mustang GT...at 6'5 it wasnt the best choice. Now my lovely diesel I worked 14 hour days at a local restaurant just to pay for the damn thing....been paid off for almost 6 years now and I still love it and wouldnt trade it for anything!
well since the listing has been removed, and we all know this guy is POS.
Lets now call this the "what was your first vehicle thread."
