Howdee . A little about my truck and plans for it:
I just got me a 1973 F-100 with 390 and 4-Speed (Not sure if t18 or NP438 yet). If you have any suggestions, please throw them out there.
I plan to mildly build it to hit 350 WHP and 400 Lb. Ft. of Torque .
Then build the body with some
-Offroad bumper
-Some lighting
-Truck bed coating for paint
-33"s
-Fuel Cell in the Bed to replace the rusted out dual tanks underneath
-Slide Out bed drawers
-decent stereo
-Grant steering wheel
-Replace power steering to get it working again
This will eventually become my secondary daily driver that I can get in and haul, grocery shop, take out to the woods, whatever comes to mind.
A little about me:
Live in a little house, in a little city, in a little neighborhood and work for a BIG bank.
I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years and am now living the high life on VA Disability (sarcasm).....
Anyways, I like to hang out, tinker on my truck, woodworking, metal working, and am starting to get into fishing/hunting recently with my best(only?) friend.

Finally joined the boards last week. Been following for a few months, as I began the truck search. I've been into cars since before I was driving. Which wasn't as long ago as some, as I haven't quite reached my 30's.
Been a Ford guy for some time. First truck when I started driving was a 1992 f150 Custom ext. Cab with the 4.9 l6, manual. Then had a BMW E36 track car. And there is a Mustang S197 Torch Red GT, manual.
And just in the last month I added the most recent Ford addition. A 2015 F250 Crew Cab, 6.2 gasser XLT FX4. And I'm loving it. Already planning on adding LED bars to the grill, as an auxiliary backup light, and air horn.

Hey everyone,
My name is Jeremy and I work for Air Lift Company, who is a vendor for this forum.
Just a heads up, I am NOT a sales guy, I am not here to cram products down your throat. I am a die-hard truck guy that is here to help you with any questions you may have about towing and load support.
I look forward to helping you guys and gals out!

new guy
Hi all, i am new here. good site. I recently purchased a 2002 f-350 crew cab dually with the 7.3L and the 6 speed manual tranny. Very solid and reliable work trucks. I am an old school Chevy man but in my opinion Ford has the only true work truck on the market at this time. I am in the process of gathering information to get my truck running since I am a little cheap and bought something that doesn't run. so we will see how it goes. lol!

Hello, Ford truck people. I just got my ultimate dream truck yesterday. A brand new shiny F-350 Lariat, dually, with all the bells and whistles. We will be starting our search for our fifth wheel camper next. I'm looking forward to the knowledge and wisdom from my fellow Ford truck lovers.

New guy from AZ
Hi everyone my Name is Odin and I live in AZ. Bout a month ago I sold my Harley and being without a toy was driving me crazy. Before I find my next bike I needed something to tinker with. Always wanted one so I started looking and finally found a 2000 Ford Excursion 4X4 Limited. It has a 6 inch lift sitting on 37s. Nice clean rig and well taken care of. Pulled the plastic Limited trim off and Bedlined the bottom part of the truck so its all black now. I have had several different play toys over the years as I am sure many of you have as well. I look forward to sharing my learnings / tricks as well as learning from the rest of you. I am a Engineer during the day but love to dig into projects during my off time. Thanks for letting me be a part of this group.

Guess I'm next up! My name is Damian. Reside in Arizona. I've been lurking through the forum the last month or so. Long story short, my uncle had an 01 F-350 V10 with 86k miles. The tranny went out about 5 years ago. Instead of fixing it, he let it sit there in the driveway through rain an shine. He finally told me if I can fix it and get it back to my house (From CA to AZ) I can have it. A hefty tow bill, and a new tranny later im the proud owner of a beautiful truck! Happy to be here.
