Thanks for the welcome. Have a question bout my 99 F350 7.3 324,000. Have been driving it with 6 bad injectors, low turbo boost pressure and a short in the injector controller. Ford said to put her to rest but really could not sell it as is but for $1500. Found a complete motor with 110,000 mi for $800. Transfered the injectors today. Runs good. Problem is it starts hard. 10-15 sec of cranking before she fires. any ideas.

New to this forum -ex 6.0 owner

Until today I was a F350 PSD driver.
I just bought an 06 F250 FX4 V-10 auto Lariat. 30k miles.
Needed to down-size and the 6.0 has a few minor issues.

I use to post quite a bit on the 6.0 forum. Been a member for years.
Now I need to learn about the V-10 and the 5 spd auto trans
Been reading here and on the V-10 forum.

Need to do more search before I ask too many questions.

Hi Guys
I've driven a ford pickup since 81. Traded my 01 f350 CC PS for a 09 f250 CC 5.4 4 months ago. I miss in diesel but I like my new truck. It gets me to work and hauls my old jeeps and farmalls around alright.

Hello from Oregon.

Just bought a 2004 F350 V10. Info on this site helped me make my decision. Lots of good info.

Drive an E150 as my daily driver.

Thanks

New owner of F350 6.0 Diesel

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased a used F350 Crew Cab DWD with 6.0 diesel and decided to join the forum. I see wonderful technical information and members very generous with their experience and advice. I hope I will be able to contribute to the community over the coming years. Thanks for all you guys do here.

I will post some details on my truck and some pictures. I bought it to tow my camper and a car trailer and I wanted something bigger and safer to drive.

Cheers
Steve

Hello,
I'm soooo glad I found this site. I have a 2001 Exc. V-10 4X4 with about 160,000 miles on it. She's starting to show her age. I'm having 4X4 issues and vibration problems. Started checking this sight out and WOW, I already have some things to check. I can't wait to learn more. Don't know why I hadn't found y'all before now. Looking forward to talking to everyone.

I just got a 65 f100 352 4 speed and I love the truck but don't know much about big blocks. It smokes bad at start up while warm it dose stop when you turn it off. some casting #s are c4ae6090g heads and c5ae9425 intake. the spare engine that came with it seems to be a wreaking yard pull wires and hoses cut ect. It has d2teaa heads and c9ae9425b intake. I have a low mile 302 how hard would it be to use the 302 in the truck.

Hello all, just traded in my Mustang for a 2006 F250 XLT Crew Cab with only 28000 miles. Just thought I'd jump on here to find out a little more about diesels as this is my first one. Hopefully it will last me a while.

Hello, I have used this site on and off for a couple of years now. I have a 2000 F250 with the 7.3 with 200,000. I think she is getting a little tired but still does OK. So I need to try and keep it together.

Just checking in to say hey. I don't have a heavy duty truck, but my son does. I have a 74 bronco...hence the name. Glad to be aboard.

OK - so new to FTE and the forum I haven't even got a picture of my 2000 F350 7.3 up yet. Came looking for you folks in panic mode as I've hit a string of problems - got them all solved but one so will be scouring the group for solutions to my no start - hope to contribute in the future - but right now I'm off to look at ign/starter/solenoid posts - until later!
