New member here. I have 3 F series p/u trucks. My first concern is my 1999 F150, 214k miles. The a/c compressor wouldn't engage unless I manually put pressure on it. Then it would keep jumping out. After reading some posts we replaced the washer reducing the air gap to about .020. Now it will engage by it's self but still keeps jumping out.
Any input here?

I have a 99 F257, 7.3 diesel, 300+k miles. I just purchased this truck and we are fixing it up. My first problem is 'no power'. It seems to run fine but just lacks power. Any suggestions?

Good morning Captain George and welcome to FTE.

You're not likely to get a response here because this thread is only for new member introductions. There are no tech questions or answers posted in this thread, as the title suggests.

Go to this forum:1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums and post your issue there and the folks in that tech forum will be more than happy to help you out.

Hello Everyone!!!

I just joined the group. I have had a 86 F250 on 44" swampers in the past but currently own two 86' F350 Crew Cab Dullay trucks. One I am stripping the other is my driver. The driver was a diesel but is now a gas and the parts truck is a diesel.

Hi y'all. I'm here to learn about my truck! I have a 1982 F-100 300ci straight 6, with a rebuilt c6. I am attempting to build a desert truck on a budget (we'll see how that goes). Anyway, I made a gallery. As you will she is bedless, bumperless, and on F250 spring. My plans include a custom roll cage, more fender trimming, 33's, lower gearing, spoil, F150 spindles (I know it's a different lug pattern), and an engine rebuild. I'm happy to be here.

You'll have to do it in the classifieds section after you've been a member long enough and have the required post count.

Hello, I just purchased my first Ford today and wanted to say hi to everyone. I just bought a 2009 f250 super duty diesel 4x4 with 34k miles. We are camping with our travel trailer and unexpectedly decided to purchase a ford while we are camping. Traded in the gmc yukon for something that can tow a little better. Excited to join the forum and read all the helpful information.

New Guy, '72 C-700

Well i figure if you are gonna own a ford. Own the biggest damn one you can!

1972 C-700 Boardman Pumper Fire Truck.

Its a novelty, sure. But i love her none the less.

Wanting to warm up that tired old 391i or swap in something diesel.

Who knows?
