91 f150 fuel pumps not shutting of won't start

My 1991 f150 with 302 iv replaced the alternator, fuel pumps twice, fuel pressure regulator,egr,O2 sensor, oil pressure sensor, and ECM/pcm, in the morning it'll start and run just fine for about 30min and then starts to flood it's self and if I turn it off it won't start again until the next day what can I do?

Old Ford Guy Here. I started working for Ford in 1994 and they needed a diesel guy (I worked on OTL trucks) when the 6.9 came out (I made a lot of money then cause warranty was 12 and 12 then and the service mangers weren't pussies and the head gasket recall). I did heavy line and that's why I probably walk crooked now. Worked 20 years for Ford and the body started falling apart. Got a job working for the state with a retirement and only had to point and say you need to fix this.

Hello all, visited here many times in the past. Spent a lot of time here today while looking for info on a l900 deal that came up. Been in fords for quite a long time, done a bit of 390 stuff way back, have another FE project to do someday. Couple fords out back the wife and I disagree on. Lol

Full Time RVer Newbie here

My wife and I have lived in our 34' Impression fifth wheel since Feb '22. We have pulled it with a 2017 F250 6.2 gasser (which we had virtually no problems with) until a month or so ago when we traded it in on a 2016 F350 King Ranch 6.7 Power Stroke with 118,000 miles on it. The truck is beautiful with an excellent maintenance history. Hard to believe it has so many miles on it. It did need a front end alignment which the Ford dealer we bought it from has tried twice to fix,but apparently can't. But that has been the least of the problems. Three weeks after buying it the "check engine" light came on, so I took it back to the dealer. They said it needed an scr assembly which cost me $6400 to have installed. That was last week, now I'm taking it to a shop to have the alignment done right and the "door ajar" light keeps coming on. Which brings me to this forum. I am looking forward to learning about driving a diesel and the ins and outs of the King Ranch.

352V8,
If I had a beautiful tryuck like yours and wanted to eliminate the extreme low gears and likely increase mileage, I would change the gears in my rear ends. This can have some issues with axle splines being different and that is something that can be dealt with. I changed several in the 1980's and 90's. Just an idea that first came to me when I read your post.

Current 97 7.3l E350SD Ambulance
Previous 00 7.3l E450SD Ambulance, 96 7.3l E350SD Ambulance

If anyone has questions about the joy of owning and working on the 7.3l in the E-series trucks, feel free to ask. There are some procedures the guys (and gals) here talk about like it is a walk in the park, while those of us with E-series are looking from a whole 'nother perspective. Just cuz they can see the hpop does not mean that we can. And the fuel lines they make out to be so easy...
Other than a tunable "venom" chip (only people who made one would work with my ecm, and it works amazing!), I am running full stock with a total gvw of 13,000 lbs fully loaded.
On a good day I pull about 14mpg and that makes me happy.
With a 55 gallon tank I can put a little distance between topping off stops.
The electronics on the ambulance bodies are challenging. Advice is free, if you want help with any of the body wiring please ask.
Thank you for welcoming me to FTE!

Gonna be upgrading....

Currently own a 2012 F-150 and a 2003 Ranger, previously owned a 1991 Ranger (I miss that "Wild Strawberry" paint). My spouse is retired, and she is counting the days until I am (3 years, 11 months, and 10 days). The current plan is to trade my XLT in for a Superduty (likely a 250, but could be a 350) 6.7 Powerstroke and haul a fifth wheel all over North America (I am a remote worker, so I can work anywhere there is reasonable network).

Trying to determine if the price difference between the standard output and high output versions are signifigant enough to warant the price increase, so anybody with experience here is free to provide advice.

From the Center of the Universe as well as the center of Fly Over Country (Kansas City Chiefs country), I hope to get tons of info from fellow members.

Racing Red 2012 XLT 3.7L V6 2WD, Owner #5. Diode Dynamics interior and bed LED lighting RF Punch P1683 in the front and Polk MM 572 in the rear. Kenwood DDX6906S with Maestro RR.

Wink Eclipse

Have had dozens of GMC vans from the early 60s to the early 90s.
This is my first ford E150 van, a 96 Eclipse conversion that just turned 190k with the 5.8 and the EAOD I believe it is called.
Needs the passenger rocker, little cleaning inside, but after EGR tube and manifold gaskets were swapped, new steering linkage installed, she is nice n quiet and no more wander.
Have to work on ride next, ball joints, brakes and wheel bearings, and figure out a few things, reason came to forums...
Was a fun 100 mile ride home on tires that were good enough to load onto a car hauler and loose front end...
If I can get it to smooth out like my GMC vans, will be a keeper and give me ability to visit kids who moved down to AZ...

Have owned many Ford trucks, my 1st back in the 70s was a 68 F100 Ranger that I had issues with motor when bought, had a tired 352 in it, I found some interceptor heads and intake off an old squad, put a Crane Fireball cam and set of Hedman headers, a 4 speed from a 68 Torino with a Hurst Ram IV inline shifter, topped it with a new Holley 600 DP, and had the engine rebuilt at the shop, back then, all of this cost just shy of $1000. It was fastest vehicle in the county for a few years until some kids jammed a GTO tripower into a Gremlin that is...
Then I had a 51 with a flip down front end, a 440 Marauder engine with 727 trany, the factory 5.11s, custom interior, in Canary Yellow, she could do 90 in a block but topped at 100. Some drunk hit it while parked... Then a few more recent F150 4x4s as well as minivans and a few Mustangs and Torinos in there... So not new to Ford, just their vans...
