Hello all NEW users!
I've noticed a lot of new people posting in the OASIS request thread, and while I want to welcome each and every one of you to FTE, I don't want to do it in that thread.
So, WELCOME to FTE!
Whether or not you've recently joined or been lurking for years, POST HERE and introduce yourself!
Everyone else, feel free to post up and welcome our newest members, and be sure to bump the thread every day or two to keep it fresh in everyone's memory.

New FTE Guy/Old Ford Truck Enthusiast
Hello, new to the forum, but been around Fords for 50+ years. Will be trolling different threads looking for advice and answers. Daughter recently purchased a 2001 F250 Superduty, 4x4, 5.4 Triton. Only has 125K +/- miles on it. Runs like ton o ****. Going to attempt to pull plugs on it this weekend. Been hearing horror stories about plugs snapping off in the heads? Any truth to this? I know it needs at least 2 coils, maybe three, but I'm not buying them til I get the plugs out and run a compression test. Anything I should know? D
Hey all, just joined up since I've been using the forums for research while shopping for a new 250. Sadly, I was about 4 days late to put my order in for a '17, and with the color changes for '18, I'm back to the drawing board.
I'm pretty amazed at how aggressively ORANGE the new KR interior is, and that the new exterior accent color doesn't seem to match the interior at all.
Anyhow, 1st world problems, nothing serious, and the community here was helpful decoding all the options, especially for me being new to trucks.
Thanks,
-bill

09' F350 6.4L new owner and loving it
Recently got an 09' F350 4x4 with only 65k. Used to be a border patrol truck here in SoCal.. I'm planning to drive this truck to the tip of South America in about 1.5 to two years from now.. It will be a year long trip so I'd like to get familiar with this truck as much as I can so I can fix things as needed along the way. This seems like a very informative forum and I'm looking forward to trading info with all of you.
Hello fellow ford E's
Working on my father inlaws 1977 f100 351m (He engine swapped 15 yrs ago from Windsor and thought he was getting a Cleavland, I had to break the news the other week)HAHA. Started by out just installing new carb and now it's stripped down to just block, heads, exhaust and the mounting bolts 😆. Anyway replacing a lot of basic stuff and have many questions. Already been studying this forum and learned a lot.
Got myself a Truck
Greetings All!
Everytime I get a vehicle, I go out and find a forum to signup with. FTE is what I picked.
Just purchased an '85 F-250 Ext Cab. V8 3spd auto with 4wd. My second bullnose Ford however, I had an '83 F-150 300-6 in high school that I blew a hole in the block and swapped in with a junkyard motor but sold it shortly after.
Happy to be bouncing around on a bench seat and wiping fog off the windshield again!

Hello from Oz
Hello from Oz - Australia.
After 12 months of searching the net I have just purchased a 1965 F100 in beautiful Carribean Turquoise and Wimbleton White LWB FE 352 "3 on the tree" from the original owners in the desert country of inland California. I purchased it from a gentlemen whose grandfather bought it and it came from San Jose. I plan to head over to LA later this year with my 18 yo son and drive the pickup through inland USA via Grand Canyon, Yosemite NP and up to Sacramento to visit relatives then ship her back to Oz to drive around pretty much as she is - original. I plan to give her a good clean up and to fix up a few minor issues such as no speedo, replace the speaker in the dash and reinstall the original radio, and maybe put on some new treads and tires. No doubt I will have plenty of questions as I get into preparing for the journey, and thanks for the many threads of interesting and valuable advice that i have already referred to. Can't wait...

Thanks for adding me to this forum. Built a bunch of dent sides back in the '90's. Been a while since I have had one since then. Retirement coming up soon so a '79 F-150 Supercab came into my life. Of course they are like potato chips, can't have just one. We will be settling in Virginia in a couple months and I will start the restoration on the supercab and I will be looking for an F 250/350 also.
