Don't know if you have a 4x4 or 4x2. I have a 4 x 2 and am happy with the factory Pirelli Scorpions. They are quiet and get good wear. I have 21,000 on them now and they are still in great shape. I am hoping for at least 50,000 out of them.
I just went from the stock BFG rugged trail to Goodyear A/T's (upgraded to 20" oem wheels) and the goodyears have a lot better wet weather traction. I have not tried them in mud / snow yet but I was not too impressed with the BFG's. However the BFG's got great longevity for me (easily 60k+ miles)
I have an 01 Ex 4x2 V10 and put Michelin M&S tires. They have lasted at least 60k miles and may be closer to 75. Even with an open rear they did extremely well in snow but stunk on the ice (don't know of anything that would do good on ice with an open rear end).
I have a 4X4 live in NJ and do a lot of highway travel. Plus have to deal with crappy highways, slush and snow and all that. I was looking at a friends f250 SD he has yokohama Geolanders 265 75 16....which is my size. Yes I will post pictures. By the way what did you guys pay per tire...I want to buy them online who is a good retailer online...price and reputable.
I like my Cooper Discoverer A/Ts. They came in at about $250 each installed. They've been a great all around tire and are the last American made tire if I'm not mistaken. I drive in all conditions including plowing and I haven't had to swear at the tires yet...
