I finally had time to install the Grant Ford horn button on my steering wheel and put one seat cover on because my seats are vinyl and the wife doesn't like sitting on them in the cold of winter.
Now I just need to find the other one for my seat, I'm sure I bought two.
Maybe the wife threw one out knowing hers would be the default seat the remaining seat cover would go on LOL, now she wouldn't be that cruel would she?
Also rust checked the Bronco as well if you do it yourself it works out to about $21 a spray for the good stuff.
No truck projects for winter, just gut and insulate and drywall my house for the next 15 months...
Just got the car and van etested, the Focus' muffler was bad, so replaced it with a piece of straight pipe since it was much cheaper. Lots of $$ into the Focus this year, new (used) tires, new back brakes, new clutch line, clutch, and valve cover gasket.
For my winter projects, I'm starting to rebuild my ford 9". Its getting a spool, 4.56 gears all new bearing and seal. Then I'm starting on my dana 44 high pinion but its staying open diff.
If i have the money I need to update my from brakes with new rotors & pads, maybe get my front bumper repainted again!! Also thinking on getting new headlights & covers and like to get some Lightning style headlights & covers!!!
Kind of, master card likes me. Just cant wait for parts to come in and start putting it back together. Its all apart right now. But just got to paint it and ready for parts.
If I get the parts I'm after then I'm going to push the Bug inside and do a roof chop. And stretch it just a little. FYI. does anyone here have or know of 2 15" X 10" aluminum slot rims, i need a pair for mock up. there has to be a set somewhere on an old van, in an old van, near an old van. I'd like a big ford 5 bolt pattern. Yes I posted in the want ads but just thought I'd post it up here too.
Yes I'm back. and to answer Franks question about a harder chop... ya gotta learn somewhere. and thank you in advance for keeping your eyes open for a set of aluminum slots, The bolt pattern is for a 9" out of a 81 F-150 I've got up at my dads, Its got to be narrowed a bit to fit under the chop... DON'T ASK...
