I have a 2001 F-250 Superduty Crewcab Diesel with a 6" Skyjacker lift on it. I want to go bigger but I know that it is not possible to put a body lift on it because of the radiator and such. I have a couple of questions. First can I fit 37 on with the lift that I have. What would be a good tire? Also is there anything that I can do to the 6" suspension or change to make it bigger wothout buying a 8" lift kit.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Dec-02 AT 10:51 AM (EST)]Ihave seen trucks run 37x12.5 BFG's with six inches of lift which seems to be a pretty good tire. If you want to go bigger with the suspension you should try [www.donahoeracing.com] they make the EDGE kits and you can get 3"-4.5" inch hangers if you don't mind stacking blocks in the rear. Also [www.fabtechmotorsports.com] sells hangers for the SD. Depending on the kit your have you might need another pitman arm, track bracket, sway bar links, etc. and you'll definitely need new shocks.
on edit: you could also buy a replacement rear spring i.e. national spring, deaver, or atlas to get the lift in the rear instead of stacking blocks.

37x12.50's will fit, 38"s are a little large if you wheel the truck.
BF makes a nice 37 in the MT
Like DC said ,Look into Fabtech's hanger kit, I believe it gives you an additional 3", but you may have to run a different track bar bracket, and a adjustable bar.
