Converter question

Can you damage a torque converter by running the tranny dry?

I need to know if there would be a chance of that happening.

No it was'nt me!

There is one FS in my area and the guy slipped and told me this.
a hughs 2400 stall for a C4, with the flex plate and bell housing i need...
$100, bucks for all

You know a little, and you can guess the rest. A good guess is it's junk.

OK, so is the bell and flex worth $100 to you?

So maybe you get lucky, or maybe you can make a lamp out of it....
