EGR on 1999 SD V10?
Can anyone tell me if the 1999 F250 with the V10 came with an EGR Cooler? I have a major oil leak into the coolant system and I'm pretty sure it is coming from the oil cooler and not a blown head gasket. But I have read where a faulty EGR Cooler can allow oil in the cooling system also.
Any help would be appreciated

Fixed the title for you!
Yes, your '99 V10 probably has an EGR - but it is NOT responsible for any oil in the cooling system.
What IS the culprit, most likely, is the oil cooler right above the oil filter. Coolant in the oil cooler, high pressure oil overcomes the pressure in the cooling system, and you have oil in the coolant.

Thanx for the info, and for fixing my title....
I was thinking the same the on the EGR cooler.....so now I just have to pull the oil cooler and change it out....doesn't look like a simple job. Probably have to lift the motor a little to get it out.....unless someone has a good tip for removing these...
