65 f100 4x4 brakes and power steering

I need some help!! I have a 65 F100 4x4. I have searched for days on this site for a disk brake upgrade and power steering. I have found how to do it from 66 and up and up to 64. I heard i can use spindles from a later model 4x4. But what year???? Can anyone help me on my 4x4????

Suggest run a search on topic and narrow field to 61-66 and likely find some info. Posting a link may find helpful.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...g-upgrade.html

There is later model Ford truck forum 67-72, that has an article on the power steering upgrade for the 4X4 may find helpful. If you run a google under '67-72 Ford pickup resource' should find the link. Been hesitant sighting the link, referred a member to site for the 2WD upgrade and seems there was an issue on how much material to remove to shorten the steering column, make sure to verify if it becomes an issue.

Try Early Bronco Restoration Full Size Bronco Restoration Classic Ford Bronco Parts For Sale for the disc brake kit...F100 and Broncos back then used a lot of the same components. I am planning to use a kit from this place on my '66 F100 4x4, which I think should work for yours as well. It's a bolt on set up.

thanks Payner44 but I have looked in to it. In 66' model year Ford went to open knuckle axles, where 64' & 65' models have a closed knuckle axle..
