Try an Edge Evolution. Chips and tuners usally don't do much for MPG but they can make more hp for the same MPG. A plug in tuner that can be reset for dealer service is the way to go.
What's better for increasing gas mileage a chip for the engine or a tuner to plug in under the dash????
I would do a tuner that has custom tunes written specifically for you and how you drive your vehicle. One size fits all tuners while can provide some good gains, aren't able to tweak every little bit out like a good set of custom tunes can.

On a gas engine, mpg improvements are going to be(in my mind) negligible at best. Depending on how you drive it, you might see some. With custom tunes it would be easier to achieve better mpg's due to the fact that everything is hopefully written according to how you drive, shift points are changed to where it shifts at the best possible time for your driving style, etc. That in my mind would allow for a far better chance of efficiency then just trying to wing it with an off the shelf tuner and hoping that there programming isn't too far out of wack with how you drive. Which also helps explain why some people get great mileage with ford factory tuning and some get very crappy mileage and they are exactly the same truck(or atleast same in areas that affect mpgs with regard to the truck itself).
