Having some dificulty rolling my driverside window up and down. Is this just a lube thing or could it be possible that the gears in my window regulator are worn out. Ive had that happen on a buick i owned once but that was easy. to replace.

It could be lube, wear, loose mounting bolts allowing it to become out of adjustment and bind or it could be the rubber channel liners have slipped or come out of their tracks. Or maybe there's a possum living in your door. Who knows? Better pull the panel and have a look.

Most likely the regulator is shot, but the window guide could be resisting it as well. You can try pulling off the door panel and spraying the gear with WD-40, but a regulator isn't a bad job if it comes to that. Just bang out three rivets, and hold on to the regulator while you're freeing it, so the glass does not fall into the door. With the regulator free from the sheetmetal, let the glass come down, and free the regulator from the track and pull it out of the door. I had to do both on my truck. The passenger side was seized, and the driver side was so loose you could move the glass up and down with your finger.

Hi, Check your window guide felts to see if they are bunching up on the bottom of the channel that would cause them to be realy hard to roll down all the way. If the window channels are not adjusted right the window will tip and dig into the felt guides usely on the way up. Something to check!
