white smoke

I'm new to this automotive thing, truckin to be exact. 1971 f350 crewcab.... I have white smoke coming from them tailpipe after the engine runs for about 10 min or so... if anyone has suggestions please post back or email me at nativekid123@yahoo.com

Welcome to FTE. White smoke usually indicates that coolant is being burnt, which can be caused by a blown head gasket, cracked head, or cracked block. Check the oil, and if it looks milky, then it's for sure.

If that 350 is parked outside on frosty mornings, it might just be condensation from hot exhaust hitting the cold pipe. As was mentioned by fmc400, keep an eye on the oil and also your coolant level.

i posted this for any to see.. this isnt even close to how much white smoke tha comes out... it normally clouds my entire block. All my neighbors are usually upset....

If you're fogging up the neighborhood, I'd say you have an internal coolant leak and not condensation. Pull the spark plugs and see if any 2 adjacent ones are wet/rusty; if so, that indicates a bad head gasket.
