driver door adjustment??

driver door adjustment??
I was wondering if there is any adjustment for the drivers door on my 05....when I open my door there is really no resistance to stop if from flying open into the car next to me...the passenger door opens fine and it will hold itself half open even on an incline.

It sounds as if the tension spring is broken in the door. There is a spring loaded cam bar that rides on a pin that should seat in a notch of the bar to retain the door in the partial or full open position.
